Lay the michiyuki down flat with
the top being on your left as shown in the picture. |

Fold the right sleeve and seam
away from you. It will be about 1/3 of the width of the michiyuki. |

Take the sleeve and fold 2/3 of
it back towards you so that it aligns with the right seem closest to you.

Take the left sleeve farthest
from you and fold it towards you so that the body aligns as shown in the
picture. |

|
Now take the left sleeve and
fold 2/3 of it back away from so that it aligns with the seam farthest
from you. |

|
Your michiyuki should be a
straight line. |
|
|
|
Now simply fold up the part of
the body below the sleeve. You have just successfully folded a haori!
