Please join our walking
tours for a leisurely walk through the beautiful streets of Fushimi.
You will see old houses, shrines, sake breweries, and old shopping
arcades. You will meet local people and interact with them at their
small shops selling traditional Japanese products such as tatami,
tea, konbu (kelp), kimono, wagashi (Japanese sweets) and fish.
We will end the tour at Kizakura Kappa Country where you can
continue to explore the beautiful streets of Fushimi on your own.

Mondays and Fridays. The tour starts at 9:30 a.m. and

responsible for any accidents that occur before, during, or after
the tour.
Who is the explorer?:
Hi! My name is Jason.
I am originally from the United States but have lived in Japan for
the past 10 years. I am a long-time resident of Fushimi and want to
share with you all of the wonderful experiences I have living here
in Fushimi. I am not a licensed guide, just a guy who really likes
Fushimi. In Japan, obtaining a license to be a "tour guide" is
extremely difficult. Whenever possible, I do try to have a
licensed-guide come and help with the tour. Come and walk with us. I
hope you find Fushimi to be as fascinating as I do!
